Great pickings!
Blueberries are still going strong. We still are in first picks of Berkleys, Herberts, Lateblues and Burlingtons. This will last through the Aug. 20. Our hours will be Mon-Saturday 8-5 (except 8/15 we close at noon for our annual Employee outing) and Sundays, 9-5. Breakfast is still served Sundays 8-1.
After 8/20 our hours will be a bit more limited since many our staff return to college.
The blackberries are ready and should last about another week or so. Our hours for blackberries will vary according to the supply and demand. Please check either Facebook or our PYO line 860-633-7467 for daily updates.
At our Hebron Ave. Stand the tomatoes are finally making an appearance. The summer vegetables are in good supply. The corn is delicious plus the peaches are in their prime. Apples have started and will continue through the fall.
We are still attending Farmers’ Markets in Avon, Hartford, New Haven, Middletown, and Westport.
