Every good thing comes to an end
October 28 and 29 will be our last weekend for the Fall. The Hebron Ave. stand will shut down on Sunday for 2017 and Matson Hill will b e closed until Nov. 18,2017 when we re-open for Chirstmas tree tagging.
We plan to go out with a bang! On Saturday we have the First Annual SoG Fruit Loop:
Join sound RUNNER, Rose's Berry Farm and Belltown Hill Orchards for the SoG Fruit Loop Fun Run/Walk for Charity. Enjoy a beautiful run or walk through the farm roads and trails of Rose's Berry Farm and Belltown Orchards followed by "Breakfast with a View" at Rose's. These two historic Connecticut farms were built by families who emigrated here in the early 20th century from Northern Italy and they have become a beloved scenic destination for many. Following the run/walk, there will be a continental breakfast served on Rose's "Breakfast with a View" outdoor deck. Distance: Approx. 5K Fee for Event: $25 Fee for Continental Breakfast Only $10 (non-participants) Registration 7-10am Event Walk/Run starts at 8:30am
Entry to the event and any additional donations will be accepted at the event only. a donation will provide the opportunity to participate in fun run/walk and "Breakfast with a View." This is not a timed event and there will be no bibs necessary for participation. Proceeds from the event go to support Foodshare of Connecticut
Then we are open at Matson Hill for our Fall Festival both days
10-5, plus end of the season apple picking. We are offering a few specials:
100 lbs of combined pumpkins or squash $0.50/lb,
150 lbs or over, $0.40/lb.
1/2 bushel of pick-your-own apples $20
Hebron Ave. stand will be closing on Sunday, 10/29/17 for the year. Be sure to stock up on your favorite pies and frozen blueberries.
